answer 2
We appreciate your interest in this television. A refresh rate of 60 Hz is a signal standard by most cable companies. Utilizing a signal greater than this can interfere with the television’s processing of the signal to fit the 120Hz screen. The TV has certain algorithms in place to take these specific frequencies and convert them properly to fit the refresh rate of the TV. The specifications of this TV do specify a 120Hz refresh rate. Our records indicate that this is the case with this model.

As suggested, I bought the AN-MR400 remote and the OK button on the remote absolutely does not do anything (red light does blink on the tv when pressed but it doesn't do anything). In other words, the AN-MR400 cannot be registered with the television whatsoever. Doing the reset method of BACK + HOME held for 5 seconds doesn't do anything either. Not sure what to do...

The feature to which the cable company has referred is DIGITAL Cable Ready. Basically, this means that a television has a CableCARD slot on the back of the television. This particular TV does not have a CableCARD slot, and will not be compatible.

This television has been designed with a 1080p / 120Hz screen. If the display is stating 60Hz, this is simply stating the format and resolution being received from the signal source. The screen will still be processing the image at 120Hz and 1080p.

The Ethernet port of this television is designed to be connected to a router, in order to gain access to online content and media. If your NAS device is also connected to the router, and is configured with DLNA formatting, then the two devices should be compatible. Be certain to check for compatibility statements in your manuals.
