We appreciate your interest in this BluRay player. This unit has not been designed to connect to a Home Theater System. It would therefore be recommended to connect the HDMI port to a television, according to its design, and then connect the television to the Home Theater System for proper operations.

The BP330 BluRay player has been designed for connection by HDMI only. The HDMI or DVI would be required in order to provide the proper HDCP-enabled signal. If the HDMI port is not available on the TV, then the TV will not be compatible with this BluRay player.

I apologize, but no; such a conversion of a digital signal to analog would interrupt certain protocols of the HDMI which would prevent the playback of the BluRay disc.

We regret the inconvenience you have experienced with this device. We have no information available concerning a BMP33, and have no means of comparing such a device to the LG BP330. If this device was purchased in the United States, we will need to confirm the correct model number. If it was purchased in a different country, then you will need to contact the LG subsidiary of that country for information about this product.

We appreciate your interest in this BluRay player. Yes, this unit will be compatible with a 720p display. It is recommended to connect the TV using the standard RED/WHITE/YELLOW cables while you set the resolution. Once connected, press the HOME button and access the SETUP menu. Once here, select the DISPLAY menu and find the RESOLUTION setting. Change the RESOLUTION setting to 720p. This will set the OUTPUT signal to a 720p resolution, which should then be compatible with your TV.

HDMI ports are designed to utilize the HDCP digital copy protection protocol. Your standard AV cables are analog, and as such, will not have the ability to utilize the HDCP protocol. As such, the use of such a conversion cable, were one to exist, would prohibit proper operation of the product. If such a device is available, we cannot recommend its use.
