Question

Does this TV have an analog audio out?

I would like to connect a TV to powered speakers that only take analog inputs. B&H Photo/Video in New York lists a 3.5mm headphone jack in the specs for this TV. But here on your webpage you list no such option. Can I get analog audio out of this TV? Thanks.

The audio out let for this tv is via Toslink audio cable. I have connected my set with a Toslink cable to my AV amplifier. From the amp. I can connect to just about anything. I don't see how you could go from this set directly to your speakers.

We appreciate your interest in this television. This TV does not have a network connection, nor any networking capabilities. In order to obtain WiFi capabilities, and the online features, such as Hulu, without having to obtain an entirely new TV or player, it is recommended to obtain the Smart TV Upgrader, model SP520 which will allow the Smart TV features which are available through the LG Apps Store. Information about this device can be viewed on our website at http://www.lg.com/us/blu-ray-player....

Question

Why is my LED 5300 blurry?

I just bought a new 42LN5300, and the picture is not as advertised. The LED picture is blurry. The letters from advertisements are blurry, the faces are blurry. The cable menus are pixelated.

I only have it connected with a white cable line directly to my Cable Explorer 2 2100. I don't have any other video cables hooked up. Can you tell me if the problem is the television, or that I need to connect different wires to the cable box?
