Yes and no.

The TV can stream videos from DLNA devices (PCs, Network Attached Storage devices etc.) from inside your local network right out of the box.

You will need to use a physical ethernet cable to connect to your network.

It cannot stream from internet sources such as YouTube or Netflix without another device.

You can also get a router with DLNA and attach a USB hard drive to that. That way you're computer won't have to "be on at all times" to access files.

We appreciate your interest in this television. The DLNA feature is a process of File Sharing between your television and your home computer, through a home network. DLNA does not allow for Netflix, or other online access. Options for Netflix and other online content are made available on those televisions which have either the LG Smart TV apps or the LG Premium Content. This particular model is not designed for either. As such, unless you have Netflix available on your computer, and you use the TV as a large computer monitor for such a display, it will not be possible to view Netflix on this TV.

No.

The "List" button shows channels only, not program content.

If your provider supplies program data using the "INFO" button, then you can possibly see "next" program, but this is usually station dependent.

Yes there is a button that says "List" that, when the cable input is selected, will give you a channel list and tell you what each channel is. I believe this feature is for Antennas and maybe basic cable. Digital cable and satellite will use the boxes built in guide.

You'll need to create a network bridge/ad-hoc network from the laptop to the TV.

Look up "internet connection sharing" for your operating system. Test it with another computer first to make sure you did it correctly.

We appreciate your interest in this television. This unit does not have any access for a LAN port. As such, it has no capability to accept a network signal by itself. The TV can be used as a large monitor for the laptop, and thereby see the content, but that will be its only option.

There is a co-axil cable that you could run directly from your cable box or wall jack and run directly into the television. Because the television has digital and an analog tuner you don't have to worry on what type of signal you are pumping in. Make sure you run through the channel setup, this will search for all of the channels and get you started.

The Ethernet connector is so that you can directly connect your TV to your home network. That being said, as long as your computer is set up to share files on the network, you can view movies, videos and listen to music from your computer.

Is this the only connection to connect other LAN Computer on my network? This TV does not have WIFI capability.

You can't connect an external HDD directly to the 47LM4600..but you can connect the HDD to a WiFi router with a USB cord and then connect that to the TV with an ethernet cable and access files via DLNA (make sure you get a router than has that feature).

If you hook your Computer to the same router you'll be able to access the HDD from there too which makes putting more files on it easier.
