Can I use a universal remote with NB2020A?
I have AT&T U-verse service and would like to add this soundbar to my TV. I would like to use the soundbar to control the volume on the soundbar. Would this work? Thanks

I am very familiar with Dolby.
"Dynamic Range Control" is what LG call Dolby. They need to change it to "Dolby".

The Dolby DRC (Dynamic Range Control) is a feature designed to make sound clear, even when the volume is reduced to a lower setting. This unit does not have audio presets, such as those mentioned.

How do you hook up the sound bar to a LG tv without an optical input?
The LG tv we have is model 42CS560 which has no optical input/output but the speaker we bought today has the optical cord. Is there a way to hook it up without the optical?

We appreciate your interest in this television and Sound Bar. The Sound Bar will only receive a signal using an Optical Digital Audio cable. Your television does not have any means of sending an audio signal to any form of external speaker systems. The only option would have to be receiving the signal from a BluRay player or Cable/Satellite Receiver box.

Question
Clock? Volume Control? Sync?
Purchased this to go with my new LG Plasma and although it clearly shows a clock in the front grill, I can not get it to light up. I only see a small red LED.
Also, it is impossible to sync the soundbar audio with the tv audio (always echo's) so I had to disable the TV speakers. Is there any way to have the LG TV remote control the volume on the sound bar and not the other way around?

I apologize, but no; this will not be a possible feature. The television remote control is designed to control certain other devices that might be connected using one of the HDMI ports. As the Sound Bar can only connect using the OPTICAL Digital Audio connection, it will not be possible to control it with these functions.
