Its called judder and ghosting, the only way to make it tolerable is to update the firmware and shut the "trumotion" off. This will also lessen the "soap opera effect" that is a problem with this t.v.

Question

I experience a motion delay when using a Wii game consol. How can this be resolved?

The game consol worked fine on my previous set which was not a flat screen. I am connected to the A/V inputs on the rear of the set. The movement of the Wii remote lags behind. Wii troubleshooting states that I should look for a "Game Mode" selection or reduce the refresh rate to 60Hz.

We regret the inconvenience you have experienced with this television. Information about the adjustments to SOUND and PICTURE can be found, beginning with the SUPPORT tab in your menu screens. Next, access the USER GUIDE option. Select PICTURE, SOUND SETTING, and then chose TO ADJUST SOUND or TO ADJUST PICTURE. These will be the only options that could resolve this situation. The other option would be to check the MENU settings of the game system, to see if any adjustments can be made from that point.

We regret the inconvenience you have experienced with this television. Check the AUTO SLEEP function to ensure this is set to the OFF setting. The set will turn off automatically after 15 minutes of inactivity on the screen. How was the TV activated? If it was activated with the AUTO ON function, then it will shut itself off after 2 hours if no other button is pressed. If these are not the case, then it would be recommended to contact our Customer Interactive Center at 800-243-0000.

Question

How do I disable the auto power off feature when no RGB signal present?

I use it as a 60" monitor, driven driven by a computer. Sometimes we turn the computer VGA output off. When we turn the RGB signal back on we discover that the TV has shut itself down, presumably to save power. We don't want this power saving feature thank you. It is winter and we use electric heating, so any power wasted by the TV only offsets our heating energy usage. And even if we were running AC in cooling mode, I still want to be able to have the TV stay on all the time. So, how do I disable the auto power off mode on no signal in the RGB input? I looked under Settings, could not find it.

Question

Any chance this set will work with Panasonic and Xpand active shutter glasses in the future?

I already own some Panasonic and Xpand glasses from my other sets, which supposedly work with most other 3d active sets from other brands I've tried (interchangeably), just not this LG (all are bluetooth).

So my question is: any chance you'll offer compatibility to other glasses in a future patch?

Question

How do I get my network to stay connected?

When I purchased this TV a year ago, I had no problems with the network settings. I plugged in the TV, went through the initial setup, and was using Netflix within 20 minutes of opening the box.

The last week on May this year, I turned on the television and tried to use the Netflix app, the TV told me that "Network is not configured. Do you want to set the network?" I re-input all my network settings, but every time I turn off my TV, the network setting are dropped. I have contacted LG support, and they had a local company come out and replace the main board and the wifi module, but still no luck.

Does anyone else have a suggestion to fix this? I hate having to set up the network every time I want to use Netflix. I am to the point where I feel I wasted money on the Smart TV because it is easier to just use my PS3 to watch Netflix. At least it saves the network settings.

We regret the inconvenience you have experienced with this television. The requirement of entering the password is typically related to how the system was previously closed. If the applications were simply minimized, then the password should be retained. If all of the features are closed down completely, then the password may be required again. If you need additional information on this matter, please contact our Customer Interactive Center at 800-243-0000.
