Question

How do I find the wireless MAC address for a BH6820SW Blu-ray player?

The wireless network I connect to only allows specific MAC addresses to connect. I need to get the MAC address for the blu-ray so it can be added to the list.

There is another way. I connected to a different wireless network that didn't require the MAC address and once it was connected, all pertinent networking info, including the MAC address, was displayed.

We appreciate your interest in this Home Theater System. The MAC Address will be available through only one of two methods. First, it may be listed on a label on the back of the system itself. If this turns out to not be the case, however, and since the listing is not readily available through the menu, the only way to get it will be to turn off the network restrictions to locate the MAC Address, add it to your system, and then reactivate the security settings.

Please be advised to log on your own Netflix account from your home WIFI network. Look for your account setting of pairing a mobile device with your account. You'll be asked to enter info like a serial code of your system on your Netflix account, then there will be a verification code popping up on your HDTV screen. After you confirm the code on your Netflix account, you will be asked to sign on your Netflix account through the system. Follow the steps, check on the save password option, then Netflix will automatically sign you in whenever you turn on your home theater system.

We appreciate your interest in the operations of this Home Theater System. The Netflix app should be located in the PREMIUM APPS content. Be certain that the player is recognizing your home network. You will want to have the Netflix ESN information from the NETWORK menu. You must also have a subscription to Netflix already. Please contact our Customer Interactive Center at 800-243-0000 should you have additional questions regarding this matter.

It has to do with your home network's internet connection and your HDTV's setting. Either an unstable internet signal or Smart HDTV's energy saving mode may affect the performance of this system. First of all, this home theater system is Smart that comes with energy saver coordinating with connected Smart HDTV for any inactivity detected. If your HDTV is set to an energy saving mode (minimum, medium, or maximum), once your internet signal drops then comes back on after a few seconds without having your attention, your HDTV may automatically power off or set to sleep, which causes this system to shut down immediately. I suggest you to upgrade your internet download/upload speed for smooth streaming with this system.

It may not be possible for this soundbar to utilize an iPod. Such a device typically requires additional software for compatibility, which cannot be added to this unit. It can only use an MP3 player that does not require compatibility software.

Set the distance between the main unit and the wireless receiver within 32 feet of each other. Optimum performance can be implemented only when the unit and the wireless receiver are within a distance of between 6 feet and 32 feet. Any longer distance can cause communication failure. If you require any information more specific than this, please contact our Customer Interactive Center at 800-243-0000.

There are several “settings” having to do with the location where the product is located. There is the REGION CODE, AREA CODE, and LANGUAGE CODE. The AREA CODE has to do with the parental restrictions relating to the video ratings system. The LANGUAGE CODE is to modify the language of the DISC AUDIO, DISC SUBTITLE and DISC MENU initial settings. The REGION CODE regulates the discs that can be used in a certain country, and cannot be changed.

We regret the inconvenience you have experienced with this Home Theater System. The rear speakers should not be disconnected from the wireless receiver. Without this connection, there is no way for the audio signal to be obtained from the wireless transmitter. The wireless receiver must also be connected to a power supply, else there will be no power to run the speakers or to receive the signal. If this is not the case, then please contact our Customer Interactive Center at 800-243-0000 to further troubleshoot the situation.

We appreciate your interest in this audio system. The BH6820SW has two audio input jacks. These are the RED/WHITE analog audio jacks and the OPTICAL digital audio jack. The best option for a game system would be to connect your game system, and any other devices, to your television, and then send one connection from the TV AUDIO OUTPUT to the audio system.

We regret the inconvenience you have experienced with this Home Theater System. Before a connection can be made with the wireless speakers, the WIRELESS CONNECTOR card must be installed in the back of the player. Once installed, turn on the main unit. Both it and the wireless receiver will be automatically connected. When a home theater system as been properly connected to a television, all audio signals will be transmitted to the speakers.
