Question

Do your HDTVs have IPS panels

Do all of your TVs have IPS panels and if not, which ones do (37" to 55" 1080P 120hz and above...no plasma). I did read that sometimes you change the panels on the same model which would cause me to send it back if it wasn't IPS.
Thanks

We appreciate your interest in this television and its accessories. The PROTECTION COVER is designed for use when the TV has been separated from its base stand, in order to be mounted to the wall. The PROTECTION COVER is intended to be inserted into the TV, in order to cover the opening left where the stand was removed.

How do I hook up this TV with regular Direct TV box?

I swithched out an old tv for the LG 37" LCD. Hooking up the cables as they had been in the past resulted in no signal. I've tried various hook-ups with the existing cable from the old set - with only three connections. Any suggestions?

Question

factory settings

I recently installed the firmware update version 03.20.12 hoping it would fix some of the jitter/judder with videos game but it didn't. But now it seems that it's worse. Is there anyway to reset the tv back to the factory settings or just downgrade the firmware?

Tripple XD engine is LG's own 3 core CPU Video proccesing system, it is used by the HDTV too produce the image you see when you watch the TV in your home, it was in older models a 2 CPU system, LG chose too add another CPU core too the system, this lightens the load, and increases response time ten fold, allowing the LG too display raw color, and motion from video games, and movies as they are intended too be seen, without the need for more advanced video software that can slow down other TVs.......

Question

How to do full screen without cutting off some of the on screen menu keys?

I just got my LG LCD 37 inch TV and it looks great. The only thing I can't get to work is the full screen. I played around with the aspect ration and there are different settings. The Zoom setting makes it full screen but when I exit what I'm watching the screen has cut off part of the bottom and top screen to where I can't see the on screen buttons. Is this normal?

It is normal for the ZOOM feature to increase the dimensions of the image to the point that, when keeping everything in the proper ratios, increasing the image to fill left and right, the vertical image would also be increased to the point of exceeding the screen size, and would therefore be cut off. These ratio settings will have to be adjusted each time, if the image format is to change.
