Filtered or distilled. We often use water from the refrigerator, as it is filtered too.

We appreciate your interest in this steam dryer. We recommend the use of regular tap water. Bottled water should not hurt, but is unnecessary. Do not use distilled water, as the water level sensor in the steam generator will not operate properly.

answer 3
The FLOW SENSE indicator is designed to advise of the air flow through the exhaust vent. It can have up to four bars, which would indicate a clogged vent duct. When there are no bars on the FLOW SENSE indicator, this means that the air duct is clear, and good for use.

back vent at floor is standard (4 inch on center off of floor). there is a kit to buy for side vent at floor. If you really mean 'out the bottom' like through the floor, I think you would need to make some fairly simple mods with a metal flex pipe.

We appreciate your interest in this electric dryer. Yes, our electric dryers can be vented out of the back, as it leaves the factory, as well as options to vent to the left, right, or bottom of the cabinet. The instructions on how to change this configuration can be found in the owner’s manual. A copy of this manual can be downloaded from our website at http://www.lg.com/us/support-produc.... The adapter kit for venting is part number 383EEL9001B. Accessories can be obtained through our parts distributor, MCM Electronics. Their contact number, for placing orders, is 800-824-9491. You can also use their website, at http://www.mcmelectronics.com/conte....

We appreciate your interest in this dryer. According to page 10 of your owner’s manual, it appears that the counter can be no lower than 39” from the floor, and there should be at least 1” of clearance to both the right and left of the unit. Allow 5 inches of clearance behind the dryer to allow for venting.

Question

Is it normal that there is always condensation on the floor during cycle?

I have only used the regular drying cycle so far, and I always turn on the exhaust fan in my laundry room, but each time I run the dryer there is a lot of condensation on the tile floor in front of the dryer. Is this normal? My previous dryer never had this issue.

We regret the trouble you have experienced with this Electric Dryer. Condensation should not be coming from this device, unless a connection has not been made correctly, such as the attachment of the exhaust hose. Check this connection on the unit, as well as the Side Vent Kit, if such is being used. If this does not appear to be the case, then the dryer may require service. To make service arrangements, you may either contact our Customer Interactive Center at 800-243-0000, or you can check our Repair Provider Lookup on our website, at http://www.lg.com/us/support/repair....
