Question

Connect a wireless Qwerty keyboard

I hate typing with a remote that's not QWERTY (or Dvorak or whatever). I couldn't find any Android apps for that on LG TVs. Is there a way to connect an actual computer keyboard and have it work with the LG Smart TV?

Thanks

Question

Can I add an app to the premium app menu?

I recently purchased this television and am quite pleased. I have noticed that there is not an option for pandora on the tv. Can this be added? I do have it on my LG BH6720S theater system but would like to be able to pull it up from the tv menu.

Also the MLBtv app shows the LG logo and coming soon. Is there at date in place yet? I am really looking forward to that.

Thanks in Advance.

As part of LG Google TV, you can download Pandora, Amazon Instant Video, and other apps. On this site, there's a Support Video explaining this: ADDING PREMIUM APPS ON THE LG GOOGLE TV.
If I had not discovered this, I might not have bought the TV.

Your magic wand remote should have a button that has a 3D symbol on it. If you do not have your wand you can access the 2D to 3D conversion from the settings menu at the bottom of the screen. You may have to scroll to the right or the left to find it. It should have a 2D/3D on the icon.

Question

TRUMOTION with NO deblur option

With the last firmware update you added TRUMOTION option to the TV but the DEBLUR setting is missing.

Will you add this feature in the next firmware update?

Are you working on this?

Trumotion without Deblur is no FULL TRUMOTION and you advertise the TV with 120hz technology that the TV doesn´t have.

I´ll wait for your answer. Thanks for your time.

Signed by a happy user of this TV.

We regret your dissatisfaction with the design of this television. While, yes, it does have the TruMotion capabilities, the software was not structured with the De-Blur and De-Judder adjustments. We have forwarded your request for the addition of these features. At this time, we have no indication available that these features will be added. The TruMotion feature, however, has no actual bearing over the availability of the 120Hz refresh rate of the screen, which is part of the specification of the TV panel itself, and cannot be changed.

The TV displays the input signal you are getting from your cable company (or wherever you're getting your picture from. No one broadcasts in 1080p or 120hz...BUT, this TV can upconvert to those. Except for sports, 60hz is good (in fact, 120hz makes a lot of things, especially movies, which are shot at 24fps, look weird).

Yes, this television has been designed with a 1080p / 120Hz screen. If the display is stating 60Hz and 720p, this is simply stating the format and resolution being received from the signal source. The screen will still be processing the image at 120Hz and 1080p.

The refresh rate of a television will be a constant, unless your TV has the TruMotion feature listed in the menu screens; typically to be located in the PICTURE menu. In order to determine if this is available on your TV, we would need the model number of the unit in question. Please contact our Customer Interactive Center at 800-243-0000 for additional information and support.

Question

Why does it always say 60Hz

There are two reasons why the INFO pane would specify a 60Hz refresh rate. One reason would be that the TruMotion feature is configured to its OFF setting. The other reason, and probably the more likely, is that this information is a description of the signal that is being received. It is stating that the inbound signal is formatted at 60Hz. In such a situation, it would have no bearing, whatsoever, on the processing being performed by the television, and as such, would not show the 120Hz processing provided by the TV.

Question

Passive 3D still half the resolution of Active?

Hi,

I wonder if for this TV the Passive 3D is still half the resolution of the Active 3D? For example if you have a 1080 resolution, then each eye would be getting 540?

I want more specifications on how good the 3D will look in this TV (Passive 3D) compared to Active 3D TVs. Thanks.
