If a freezer is forming a small layer of frost, it can be caused by a bad seal, frequent openings, or it could simply be due to something warm being placed in the compartment. It is difficult to determine which might be the cause without a visual inspection of the unit, on site. If the frost level increases, then it is more likely to be the seal, or the opening and closing of the unit. If the door is not opened frequently, then the seals or the door will likely be the problem.
