Yes, this dryer and pedestal are compatible with each other. The pedestal is designed with supports for the feet of the dryer. Along with this, there are screw points to connect the two units together. The pedestal comes with installation instructions that will provide the details needed.

It is not recommended to use dryer sheets in any of our LG dryers. The particles from the dryer sheets are known to interfere with the operation of the humidity sensors of the unit, and thereby reducing the effectiveness of certain features. Does it connect directly to the washer for water? Does it require a separate water line? Does is use water pulled from the clothes?

The Turesteam feature uses a water hopper that you fill manually. See the manual on the support page for more information.

Question

Rattle and Buzz from underneath brand new DLEX3550W

I have a new DLEX3550W that dries very well. It is an upgrade from a previous LG dryer to the new steam technology. Unfortunately there is a really bad rattle / repetitive buzzing sound coming from underneath the dryer in the front. We have leveled the unit multiple times and also adjusted it in every way we could imagine but it does not go away. If I place pressure to the underneath with my hand it goes away but comes back immediately. i have read this to be a common occurrence on message boards. What is the fix?

Are Dryer Controls Moveable?

When you stack dryer above washer, can the controls be placed on the bottom of the unit? This would make the controls easier to access and read.

wrinkled clothes

All cotton knit tops come out of dryer a wrinkled mess. Have to put clothes on air dry for 30 minutes with a wet towel so that they are wearable. Don't look good but ok. Have never had this problem with any other dryer I have ever owned. The cool down on perm press is only 5 minutes. Should be 15-20 minutes to really cool the clothes. The steam fresh doesn't work because it puts steam on wrinkled clothes, spins for a few seconds, then clothes lay is dryer and get more wrinkled. This dryer is horrible. Any other suggestions??

When dealing with wrinkling such as you have experienced, some options you might choose would be the use of fabric softener in the wash cycle, the use of the WRINKLE CARE function of the dryer, or the use of the RACK DRY cycle, to allow clothing to dry flat. Question

low, grinding noise

We just purchased our DLEX3550W dryer and during the drying of our third load we are hearing a low, grinding noise for the first time. Clothes are tumbling fine and we tried taking half the clothes out to determine if it was overloaded. however, the grinding noise continues.
