The water supply is connected to the upper right part of the rear surface of the refrigerator. Remove the ring in the joint area. Hold the water supply connection and gently push the Collet to detach the water supply line. Detachment of the water supply line is applicable only when detaching the left refrigerator door. Remove the screw from the hinge cover at the top of the refrigerator. Lift the hook, located at the bottom of the front side of the cover with a flat-head screwdriver. Remove the cover and pull out the tube. Disconnect all wire harnesses. Rotate the hinge lever counterclockwise. Lift the top hinge free of the hinge lever latch. When lifting the hinge free of the latch, be careful that the door does not fall forward. Lift the door from the middle hinge pin and remove the door. Place the door, inside facing up, on a non-scratching surface. Remove the top hinge cover screw. Lift the hook (not visible), located at the bottom of the front side of the cover, with a flat-head screwdriver. Detach the wire harness. Rotate the hinge lever clockwise. Lift the top hinge free of the hinge lever latch. When lifting the hinge free of the hinge lever latch, be careful that the door does not fall forward. Lift the door from the middle hinge pin and remove the door. Place the door on the floor, inside facing up, on a non-scratching surface. This is normal operation for this refrigerator. Each press of the refrigerator button will reduce the temperature of the unit. However, it will only descend to a set temperature. After that point, it will switch back to the highest temperature of its cycle, and will continue to descend from that point.

We regret the difficulty you have experienced with this refrigerator. The LFX31925ST 31 cubic foot refrigerator is designed with LED lighting in the refrigerator compartment. This light fixture, and its lighting, is not designed in a manner where it might be replaced by the owner. It is recommended to obtain the assistance of a service technician. To make service arrangements, you may either contact our Customer Interactive Center at 800-243-0000, or you can check our Repair Provider Lookup on our website, at http://www.lg.com/us/support/repair....

The replacement of the interior lighting of this refrigerator would require the assistance of a service technician. However, the part that would replace these lights would be the same as that which is already in it. We cannot guarantee that the lights would look any more blue than they currently do.

When cleaning the interior walls of the unit, it is recommended to allow the unit to thaw, so that the cleaning cloth will not stick to the wall. To help remove odors, you can wash the inside of the refrigerator with a mixture of baking soda and warm water. Mix 2 tablespoons of baking soda to 1 quart of water. Be sure the baking soda is completely dissolved so it does not scratch the surfaces of the refrigerator. To clean the door liners and gaskets, use a clean sponge or soft cloth and a mild detergent in warm water. Do not use cleaning waxes, concentrated detergents, bleaches, or cleaners containing petroleum on plastic refrigerator parts.

According to the information in the owner’s manual, on page 22, adjust the temperature in the REFRIGERATOR compartment by pressing the REFRIGERATOR button. When the temperature setting gets to the limit of its cycle, it will start over at the cycle’s other extremity. The operation of the FREEZER is performed in the same fashion, with the FREEZER button.

The water supply in this refrigerator runs through a tank where the COLD water supply of your home is cooled. If the wrong water line was used, and the HOT water supply was tapped, then the cooling of the tank may only be able to reach a certain temperature. If the water usage is high enough, it may be that the water has not had opportunity to cool sufficiently. If neither of these are the case, then it may be that the cooling aspect of this water tank is not operating, in which case, the unit may require service. To make service arrangements, you may either contact our Customer Interactive Center at 800-243-0000, or you can check our Repair Provider Lookup on our website, at http://www.lg.com/us/support/repair....

We appreciate your interest in this refrigerator. Upon testing of this model, it seems that the left hand door will attract magnets, but the right hand door and the freezer drawer will not. The alloy used for the Stainless Steel is, of itself, not magnetic. However, magnets can attract to the ice maker compartment through the door.

Water tastes terrible!!

We purchased the LFX31925 refrigerator two months ago. We followed the instructions of the initial running the water through the system but the ice and water(especially!) taste terrible! Our previous refrigerator used the same water source and that water was delicious. What can we do? This spoils my love for the rest of this product.
