The replacement of the interior lighting of this refrigerator would require the assistance of a service technician. However, the part that would replace these lights would be the same as that which is already in it. We cannot guarantee that the lights would look any more blue than they currently do.

When cleaning the interior walls of the unit, it is recommended to allow the unit to thaw, so that the cleaning cloth will not stick to the wall. To help remove odors, you can wash the inside of the refrigerator with a mixture of baking soda and warm water. Mix 2 tablespoons of baking soda to 1 quart of water. Be sure the baking soda is completely dissolved so it does not scratch the surfaces of the refrigerator. To clean the door liners and gaskets, use a clean sponge or soft cloth and a mild detergent in warm water. Do not use cleaning waxes, concentrated detergents, bleaches, or cleaners containing petroleum on plastic refrigerator parts.

I apologize, but no; it will not be possible to lower the refrigerator compartment to a freezing temperature. It is recommended to check the vent openings to make sure they are not being blocked. It is also recommended to check the freezer to ensure that it is operating properly, as both compartments run on the same compressor system. If it still does not cool sufficiently, then the unit may require service. To make service arrangements, you may either contact our Customer Interactive Center at 800-243-0000, or you can check our Repair Provider Lookup on our website, at http://www.lg.com/us/support/repair....

answer 2
If the ice dispenser is not dispensing ice, there are a few reasons this might happen. If ice is not used fairly frequently, it is possible for the ice to stick together. It is also possible, in humid conditions, that when the dispenser is being used, or when the doors are open, that humid air can condense on the ice, and again, cause the cubes to freeze together. Check inside the dispenser flap to see if there are any cubes stuck side-ways, or clogging the dispenser.

According to the information in the owner’s manual, on page 22, adjust the temperature in the REFRIGERATOR compartment by pressing the REFRIGERATOR button. When the temperature setting gets to the limit of its cycle, it will start over at the cycle’s other extremity. The operation of the FREEZER is performed in the same fashion, with the FREEZER button.

The water supply is connected to the upper right part of the rear surface of the refrigerator. Remove the ring in the joint area. Hold the water supply connection and gently push the Collet to detach the water supply line. Detachment of the water supply line is applicable only when detaching the left refrigerator door. Remove the screw from the hinge cover at the top of the refrigerator. Lift the hook, located at the bottom of the front side of the cover with a flat-head screwdriver. Remove the cover and pull out the tube. Disconnect all wire harnesses. Rotate the hinge lever counterclockwise. Lift the top hinge free of the hinge lever latch. When lifting the hinge free of the latch, be careful that the door does not fall forward. Lift the door from the middle hinge pin and remove the door. Place the door, inside facing up, on a non-scratching surface. Remove the top hinge cover screw. Lift the hook (not visible), located at the bottom of the front side of the cover, with a flat-head screwdriver. Detach the wire harness. Rotate the hinge lever clockwise. Lift the top hinge free of the hinge lever latch. When lifting the hinge free of the hinge lever latch, be careful that the door does not fall forward. Lift the door from the middle hinge pin and remove the door. Place the door on the floor, inside facing up, on a non-scratching surface. The water supply in this refrigerator runs through a tank where the COLD water supply of your home is cooled. If the wrong water line was used, and the HOT water supply was tapped, then the cooling of the tank may only be able to reach a certain temperature. If the water usage is high enough, it may be that the water has not had opportunity to cool sufficiently. If neither of these are the case, then it may be that the cooling aspect of this water tank is not operating, in which case, the unit may require service. To make service arrangements, you may either contact our Customer Interactive Center at 800-243-0000, or you can check our Repair Provider Lookup on our website, at http://www.lg.com/us/support/repair....

This is normal operation for this refrigerator. Each press of the refrigerator button will reduce the temperature of the unit. However, it will only descend to a set temperature. After that point, it will switch back to the highest temperature of its cycle, and will continue to descend from that point.

Water tastes terrible!!

We purchased the LFX31925 refrigerator two months ago. We followed the instructions of the initial running the water through the system but the ice and water(especially!) taste terrible! When the settings on the display are set at a particular temperature, this will be a target temperature, around which the actual temperature can fluctuate. If the temperature will not get to the appropriate temperature, it will be recommended to check the vents in the refrigerator, to ensure that they are not blocked. If they are not blocked, then you may wish to obtain service for why the unit is not reaching the designated temperature. inside width of 33" with a shelf depth of 19". There's the shelf above the bins plus two more above that. the two upper shelves are split in the middle so there are actually four independent shelves. I keep the two sides of my top shelf at the same height so it's flat across the full width, but the right side of my middle shelf is higher to create a taller space beneath and smaller space above. I usually have a gallon of milk and a gallon of orange juice in just one of the right side door bins.

We appreciate your interest in this refrigerator. Upon testing of this model, it seems that the left hand door will attract magnets, but the right hand door and the freezer drawer will not. The alloy used for the Stainless Steel is, of itself, not magnetic. However, magnets can attract to the ice maker compartment through the door.
