Question

Netcast Software Updates

I see my TV check for software updates everytime I select Netcast, yet I have not seen anything change in well over a year (i.e. - any new applications)...i would have assumed long ago Hulu Plus or Amazon Prime, at a minimum, would have been added. Is there another source for updates I could use to manually update this? or a means of pointing the automated update process to the correct location?

Question

why does it 4 minutes before I get a singal

Sound comes on quickly, picture takes around 4 minutes. tv must automaticaly turn off and back on to get the picture. or I must thurn the tv off and back on several times to get the picture.

This television should not be having a 4-minute delay in getting the picture; nor should the set have to be turned off and back on to get a picture. As this seems to be the case for this unit, it is recommended to have a technician inspect the unit, in order to determine the cause of this problem. Question

We cannot get the closed captions on the TV. We get them through Dish network HD but need them on the TV.

We have a ROKU hooked up with an HDMI cable and cannot get captions.

The Closed Captions feature of a television’s tuner. As such, the only way that the TV can control the captions is if the signal is being received by the coaxial cable jack on the TV, and the TV is set to the ANTENNA/CABLE input setting. Once the TV has been switched to this input setting, the CAPTIONS options will become available.

Question

My HDMI ports on my 52LD550 have ceased working, is there a way to fix this without buying a new TV?

I have tried several different HDMI cables from several high quality makers. I have tried several devices in each port to no avail. It is a consent "no signal" regardless of what I plug in. This issue happened all of a sudden, as in it worked when I went to bed, but not when I woke up.

Is there some kind of system reset or something I can try prior to replacing the board or the entire TV?

Question

My 52LD550 lock on clock with format --:-- display

When turn on my plasma and it display this 3pm clock format with __:__ and can't go any further. Remote control all buttons are not working except power button that can turn TV off...

I hope I don't need to buy another main board or T-Con to replace. Please advice the issue/problem

Question

I am unable to turn on my 52LD 550

The red standby light turns on, but the TV never turns on. Have tried to remove plug, hold in on off button to "reset" TV... Still unable to get the screen to turn on! Any additional help would be appreciated.
