Firmware update for 47LG50-UA

Is there, and how can we get, the latest firware update ?

I have the handshake problem with my ps3 (need to close and open the tv a few times to et the ps3 signal ok in HDMI).

Question

Is there an available firmware update for download?

I have an issue where audio and video are out of sync through the HDMI inputs. I have read about available firmware updates and was wondering if they could be made available for download through lg.com support.

Menu keeps flashing up on screen

The input list and main menu keep flashing up on the screen and there is no sound. The remote control will let you remove the menus, but they keep continuously popping up.

We regret the inconvenience you have experienced with this television. It seems that the unit is set to its DEMONSTRATION mode. Step one of the INITIAL SETTINGS is the MODE setting. This MODE setting will allow you to choose whether the unit is being used IN STORE or at HOME. The IN STORE setting will force the unit to run an automatic demonstration of the different features, including the menu screens. Set this to HOME to allow normal operations.

Question

why is the screen showing "no signal"

the tv was working great, we shut it off and went to bed. Got up next morning and the tv came on but nothing but "no signal" pops around on the screen. We checked every cord and cable, they are all correct. We have had this TV for 41/2 years and have not had any problems till now. It is a 47" LG HDTV LCD 1080p

Press the INPUT button, slowly, about 6 times or until the picture appears. If this does not resolve the matter, then the TV may require service. Question

After use Tv will not turn on

Tv will not turn on after previously being use. We will use the tv for a period of time turn it off and come back to it later in the day or night and the tv will not power on. The flashing red light on the bottom right corner will flash but it will not kick over to the blue light as it does when the tv is acting normal. Now we will wait an hour or two and the tv will turn on and work but it just starts the cycle all over again. The tv is not hot or warm or anything and does not make a noise. What can I do to fix this?
