Question

Water draining down front of the machine...how do I fix it?

We have the extended storage drawer on the bottom of the machine. During a laundry run yesterday, we noticed a small, steady drip of water down the inside of the front. Is this a known problem with this type of machine? How do I get it fixed?

You should be able to simply remove the liquid detergent tray in the pull-out compartment and add the powder detergent there. Please refer to the owner's manual for specific instructions.

Question

Water remains in the fabric softner dispenser. What is the cause of the water not draining??????

Cleaned dispensing drawer and filter at the bottom of washer. I can't find any reason for the water to keep standing in the fabric softner dispenser.

According to page 11 of the product’s owner’s manual, it is normal for small amounts of water to remain in the dispenser compartments at the end of the cycle.

To prevent internal damage during transport, the washer is equipped with 4 shipping bolts and plastic retainers. To prevent damage to internal components, the shipping bolts and retainers must be installed when transporting the washer. These bolts and retainers MUST be removed before operating the washer. Failure to remove shipping bolts and retainers may cause severe vibration and noise, which can lead to permanent damage to the washer. Question

how do I get rid of dirt buildup in the washer?

I have cleaned the rubber rim and got a lot of the dirt but there seems to be more in the washer. How can I eliminate this dirt? It soils the clothes as I wash them.

To start the TUB CLEAN cycle, remove any clothing or items from the washer and close the door. Open the dispenser drawer and add liquid chlorine bleach to the bleach compartment. Do NOT add any detergent to the detergent compartments. Excessive suds may be produced and leak from the washer. Close the dispenser drawer slowly. Turn the power ON, and then press the EXTRA RINSE button for 3 seconds. The PREWASH option will be selected. Press the START/PAUSE button to start the cycle. After the cycle is complete, leave the door open to dry around the washer door opening, door seal, and door glass. Remove hard water deposits using only cleaners labeled as safe for washing machines.

The WDP3W was designed for full compatibility with your washing machine and dryer. Unfortunately, it is no longer in production. The only pedestal currently available is the WDP4*. An adaptor kit will be required to make the units compatible. This kit is part number AAA30793428. Accessories can be obtained through our parts distributor, MCM Electronics.
